Rowen Fox
Rowen received a Bachelor of Music Composition from the Elder Conservatorium, University of Adelaide in 2004, at the same time undergoing Conducting and Vocal studies. In 2017 he received his Master of Music Composition from the Sydney Conservatorium, studying under Anne Boyd. He has conducted opera, instrumental and vocal ensembles, amateur and professional theatre in the Blue Mountains, Sydney and his native Adelaide. Rowen was the musical director of the Phoenix Choir Blue Mountains from 2012 to 2022, regularly performing major works from the classical choral canon, as well as several massed performances for choir and orchestra for Sing in the Mountains, the Heathens’ Bulgamada and the Blackheath Choir Festival. During this time, he formed the Lithgow and Katoomba Community Choirs, and worked with many other classical and community choirs across the Blue Mountains and Sydney. Rowen is currently a co-director of the Heathens with Christine Wheeler, and of the Moo Choir with Suzanne Langford, and is very excited to be the newly appointed Musical Director for Penrith City Choir. Jane Andino Jane Andino is a composer, arranger and pianist, writing and performing in classical, jazz and Latin-American styles. A member of local groups, Canto Latino and Tres Amigas, Jane has worked with many choral groups as pianist and runs a private teaching studio. |
